Fairview Cottages, offers comfortable, self-catering accommodation in the very heart of Clarens. It’s within walking distance of shops, art galleries and restaurants and the Clarens Conservancy is on the doorstep.
Accommodation is offered in 4 self-catering cottages namely Garden View, Titanic View, Mountain View and Eagle’s View. All units comprise of a double bed, en-suite bathroom, dining area, and a kitchenette that is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each unit has private braai area. In-room amenities include TV with selected DStv channels and Wi-Fi. Electric blankets, bed linen, and bath towels are also provided. Secure parking is available.

Clarens is known as the ‘Jewel of the Free State’, due to its natural beauty. Each unit of Fairview has unrestricted views of the surrounding mountains. The town is situated in a conservancy and boasts amazing walks to the summits of the sandstone mountains, which provide breath-taking vistas of the town, the Maluti ranges and surrounding area.

Clarens is situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains – three ranges of mountains that are older than the Alps – and is in close proximity to Golden Gate National Park. The town is also known for its art route, a variety of quaint shops, craft beer, and restaurants. The old sandstone buildings add to the authenticity of the village. Clarens has become the ideal getaway for city dwellers from Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, and Durban, as these cities are all approximately 300 km away.
